About Julius
AI Engineer, MIT Graduate, and Adventure Enthusiast building the future one algorithm at a time.
My Journey
Hello and welcome to my website! I'm Julius, a recent MIT graduate now working on a startup in Kendall Square, Cambridge. I'm passionate about building large-scale AI systems and exploring the intersection of technology and human potential.
Like many in our field, I love experimenting with AI projects and have a particular interest in developing systems that can operate at scale. My work spans from educational AI frameworks to cutting-edge research in quantum computing and transformer architectures.
When I'm not coding, you'll find me on the water sailing competitively in small boats, exploring mountain trails, or cycling through New England. I believe the best ideas come when you step away from the screen and embrace the physical world.
Current Focus
Startup Building
Working on innovative AI solutions in Kendall Square, focusing on scalable systems and real-world applications.
AI Research
Continuing research in machine learning, with recent publications in ICLR 2024 and ongoing work in model-on-model deception.
Open Source
Contributing to the AI community through frameworks like A2rchi, adopted by MIT, CERN, and other institutions.
Adventure
Exploring the outdoors through competitive sailing, hiking, and cycling. Always up for a new physical challenge!

Fun Facts
🏃♂️ You can convince me to go on a run (but sailing is preferred!)
⚡ Built my own GPT-like transformer that surfed the internet
🧬 Worked on rare charm decay research at CERN
🎯 Love mixing ideas from different fields (guitar hero + geometry dash = beats blitz!)
Let's Build Something Amazing
I enjoy meeting people and exploring new ideas. Whether you're interested in AI, startups, outdoor adventures, or just want to chat about technology, I'd love to connect!
